- For "Military End Use" or questions on rule interpretation please consult with your Max-Viz representative.
- In contrast to many competitive products, this exemption ruling applies to ALL CURRENT MAX-VIZ PRODUCTION SYSTEMS.
- The ruling is final.
*1. This is for "Civilian End Use" only. Typically this means, General, Corporate and Commercial Aviation, Medical and EMS, Maritime, Offshore Oil and Gas Operations and Fire Fighting. The "Military End Use" is defined as "The rule defines military end user as national armed services (army, navy, marine, air force and coast guard) as well as national guard and national police, government intelligence or recon organizations, or any person or entity whose actions of functions are intended to support military end-uses".
*2. Shipments installed in the US are exempt. Shipments installed internationally must become "integration certified". This is a one-time certification process with the Department of Commerce and BIS to make sure the installer or integrator is certified. Once a lettered, "statement of integration certification" is approved by Commerce, the Installer can then ship without a license requirement to the above countries for "civilian use" . In many cases, Max-Viz handles this process.
Max-Viz EVS turns night into day.
Max-Viz (www.max-viz.com) designs and markets the smallest, most reliable, popular and affordable Enhanced Vision Systems for aircraft available with STC's on more than 60 fixed and rotary airframes. The systems use real-time infrared sensors, signal processing, and a cockpit display to provide flight crews with actual images of terrain, runways, taxiways, aircraft and other potential obstacles much better than the naked eye during poor visibility conditions such as light fog, haze, smoke, brown / whiteout, light precipitation and darkness.
