EVS is the acronym for Enhanced Vision System,
a forward-seeing imaging system that consists of:
- An exterior mounted camera using real-time
sensors, typically infrared (IR) technology
- Signal processing
- A cockpit display monitor (head-up display,
head-down display, or electronic flight bags)
