NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD FOR MAX-VIZ, INC.

Portland, Oregon (August 28, 2003) Mr. Gerard Langeler of Oregon Venture Partners has accepted the position of Chairman of the Board for Max-Viz, Inc. Mr. Langeler, an OVP partner and founder, was co-founder and president of Mentor Graphics Corporation. He has also served as a board member for companies ranging from enterprise software to wireless communications and retailing to medical devices. He is a graduate of Cornell University with an MBA from Harvard.
